Alpine Ecology: Summer School on Alpine Plant Life

ALPFOR, Alpine Research and Education Station, Furka pass, Swiss Central Alps, 20-25 July 2015

This graduate course is organised by the University of Basel and the Zürich-Basel Plant Science Center (PSC) for advanced biology students with basic plant science training. Course topics include microclimatology, population and vegetation ecology, biodiversity, ecophysiology and ecosystem ecology. The course will include lectures, field excursions and project work. The number of participants is limited to 25 students.

Costs:
300 CHF for accomodation and full board during the course, travel has to be organised by the participants. For PhD students of the PSC PhD Program in Plant Sciences part of the course costs will be covered by the PSC.
